Maxi Heinicke studies music education at University of the Arts Berlin and rehabilitation science at Humboldt University Berlin. She has finished an additional qualification program in elementary music education at Universtity of Music Hanns Eisler in Berlin.
As a musician (violin, mallets), she plays in various formations and is active as a studio musician for international productions and artists such as gentleman, the ohrbooten, Johann Kolstrup and Squire.
As a music educator, she worked at the Theaterprokjekt aufBruch for 5 years in the Judicial enforcement Institute Tegel and Plötzensee.
Currently, she leads the educational Division of Drumtrainer Berlin and the music project of inter: BEAT e.V. for refugees children and teenagers and gives workshops for teachers and managers in Germany, Austria, Italy and India.
For the Bertelsmann Foundation, she worked as a lecturer in the project Musik, Sprache, Teilhabe and directs the mobile music workshop (Mobile Musikwerkstatt) in Berlin.
