FAQ
Online Training
Of course there is a lot of drum training material available for free online – and some of it is even good quality. But it takes a lot of of time to search through this mass of films and tutorials online to find the right ones for you. And can you believe everything you are taught online? The question is: Do you want to spend your time clicking around the net or learning the drums? Are the contents of the films you watch from professionals who can also teach? Are the lessons legally put online? Drumtrainer.online can answer a loud yes to these questions.
Our courses are clearly structured and concentrate on the essential basics and our trainers are all experienced professional drummers who have extensive teaching experience. The videos have been filmed in high-quality and created exclusively for drumtrainer.online. Only short clips, if anything, can be found on YouTube. The planning and production of these ilms is costly, without taking into account the many years that professional drummers invest in taking their music to the top level. We urge to take into account that by paying the membership fee or the price of individual courses you are also enabling us to continue to create high-quality teaching material in the future.
Members can watch the videos for the entire duration of their membership. If you buy a video without membership, your access will be removed after one year.
Any current computer, tablet or smart phone.

Within our membership you can watch the courses an unlimited amount of times.
As Drumtrainer is based in Berlin, Germany, courses are offered in German as well as in English.
A beginner's course (in German) by drumtrainer Dirk Erchinger can be purchased individually on Udemy. However, for a small extra cost, students can access many courses and drumming material, which can also be interesting and inspiring for beginners.
Our courses can be securely paid for via Paypal, SEPA or by using a credit card. Afterwards, drummers get immediate access to the courses.
No. There’s no video or online course which can replace the personal face-to-face contact with a good teacher. We want to encourage our drummers to find a teacher in their home area, so they can give direct feedback and tips as well as motivate and inspire. Online courses are a great thing but they don’t replace a teacher. We also offer a combination of our online offering with drum lessons on site in Berlin or via Skype.
